Schemes: GOSI annuities (9% / 9%) and SANED unemployment (0.75% / 0.75%) for Saudi nationals on wages SAR 1,500–45,000; occupational hazards (2% employer) for all employees; end-of-service award accrual (employer-only, 4.17% of basic) for non-Saudis.
What each employee provides
- Nationality — it decides which GOSI branches apply.
Worked example — SAR 10,000
Saudi national: annuities 900/900, SANED 75/75, hazards 200 employer. Expatriate: hazards 200 employer + end-of-service accrual 417 employer; nothing deducted from pay.
Limitations
No employee income tax. The 2024 pension-law phased rates for new joiners are not modeled — the seeded 9% is the standing rate (verify). The accrual is the first-5-years half-month rate; later service and final settlement are a separation true-up. Mudad/WPS file export is a later addition.
