Built-in tax compliance packs — tax rates, withholding, filing forms and e-invoice file formats — cover 10 countries: the Philippines, Australia, New Zealand, the United States, Canada, Japan, Mexico, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Egypt.
Does BareLedger file my taxes for me?
No. BareLedger prepares and tracks your statutory filings and generates e-invoice files in standard formats, but it never submits anything to a tax authority on your behalf. You download the prepared forms and files and submit them through your own channel, so you stay in control of what is sent.
Does BareLedger connect to my bank?
Not directly — there are no bank feeds. You import bank statements from a CSV or file upload, then match them against your books in bank reconciliation, where rules handle recurring items such as fees. Statements stay a file you choose to upload, which keeps bank credentials out of the system.
What makes BareLedger different from other accounting software?
