What it's for: your home screen — a quick snapshot of how the company is doing financially, and a to-do list of things waiting on you.
Who sees it: everyone who's logged in, though a few sections only show up for Reviewer, Approver, Administrator, and Accountant roles.
Where to find it: it's the first thing you see after picking a company — the app takes you straight here.
What's on the screen
- Financial summary — cash position, revenue, expenses, and net income, plus a row of efficiency measures (profit margin, ROI, burn rate, EBITDA). This only appears for Reviewer/Approver-type roles that also have report access; otherwise these boxes just stay empty rather than showing an error.
- Team size — how many people are part of the company (a Reviewer/Approver-type role sees this tile; clicking it jumps to the team page).
- Things waiting on you — a running count of items across journals, invoices, bills, expenses, and payments that need your review or approval, plus anything recently sent back to you. This is the fastest way to see what needs your attention right now, and it's the section everyone gets.
- Recent activity — a short feed of recent actions taken in the company (who did what, and when), shown to Reviewer/Approver-type roles.
What you can do here
The dashboard itself is just for looking, not for editing anything directly. Click on any "waiting on you" card or number to jump straight to that list and take action.
If something looks off
The financial numbers are blank: that's expected if your role isn't a Reviewer/Approver-type role or lacks report access — it's not an error, just ask an administrator if you think you should see them.
The recent activity feed isn't there at all: same idea — it's shown only to Reviewer/Approver-type roles.
