# Statutory Pack: Philippines

> SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG and BIR withholding, with the 1601-C fed from posted runs.

**Schemes**: SSS (social security, incl. the employer's EC fund), PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG (HDMF), and BIR withholding tax on compensation (TRAIN monthly table). SSS/PhilHealth/Pag-IBIG are pre-tax: they reduce the pay the BIR table sees.

## What each employee provides
- SSS, PhilHealth and Pag-IBIG membership numbers (one registration per scheme on the employee's Statutory tab — collected by the onboarding form when configured).
- Their tax status feeds the employee tax profile; mid-year hires can carry previous-employer year-to-date figures.

## Worked example — ₱30,000 monthly
SSS ₱1,500 (5%) + employer ₱3,000 (10%) · PhilHealth ₱750 + ₱750 (2.5% each of basic) · Pag-IBIG ₱200 + ₱200 (2% of the ₱10,000 cap) → taxable ₱27,550 → BIR ₱1,007.55 (15% of the excess over ₱20,833). Net: ₱26,542.45.

## Outputs
Remittance report per scheme per month; posted runs feed the **1601-C** filing in Compliance automatically; the ₱90,000 13th-month exemption cap is registry data.

## Limitations
The SSS table is modeled as 15% of the capped salary credit (reproduces the published table at bracket midpoints — verify against the current circular); WISP/MPF split is carried as data on the bracket, not a separate payable.
