# Statutory Pack: Canada

> CPP and CPP2 over the exemption, EI premiums, and federal plus Ontario income tax per pay period.

**Schemes**: CPP base (5.95% over the $3,500 exemption, to YMPE), CPP2 (4% on the YMPE→YAMPE band), EI (1.64% employee / 1.4× employer), federal income tax and Ontario provincial tax (annual brackets per period; the basic personal amount is the zero band).

## What each employee provides
- Province (Ontario seeded — other provinces are data-only additions), TD1 claims beyond the BPA via the employee tax profile.

## Worked example — $6,000 monthly
CPP $339.65 each side · CPP2 $2.33 · EI $98.40 / $137.76 · federal $748.23 · Ontario $314.66.

## Limitations
This approximates the T4127 **K-constant formulas** with bracket tables — expect small differences against CRA's PDOC; verify before enabling. Quebec (QPP/QPIP/provincial tax), the Ontario surtax/tax reduction, and employer health taxes are not seeded. Direct T4/RL-1 submission to the CRA is a later phase.
